Six material chemistries.
One engineering partner.
Materials
2KM's metering, mixing and dispensing systems are engineered around two-component (2K) material processing - reflected in our name, '2 Komponenten Maschinenbau', German for Two Component Engineering.
From self-etching structural acrylics to high-viscosity silicones, every PGM system is built to meter, mix and dispense your material accurately, whatever its chemistry or viscosity.

Materials - FAQs
Which materials does 2KM's equipment process?
2KM machines are engineered to meter, mix and dispense six core material chemistries: epoxy, polyurethane, silicone, MMA (methacrylate), polyurea and polysulphide. Each has its own viscosity range, mix ratio and processing requirements - see the material pages above for full compatibility and machine recommendations.
Is 2KM tied to specific material suppliers?
No. 2KM systems are designed to work with materials from a wide range of manufacturers, giving customers flexibility rather than locking them into a single supplier ecosystem. You can continue working with your preferred material suppliers while benefiting from 2KM equipment performance and reliability.
How do I know which material page applies to my project?
Start with the material chemistry you're already using, or the one your application calls for - each material page covers typical viscosities, mix ratios and the 2KM machines best suited to it. If you're not sure which material fits your process, our engineering team can advise based on your application and production requirements.
Do you supply machines to dispense 1K as well as 2K materials?
2KM's core expertise - reflected in our name, '2 Komponenten Maschinenbau' (Two Component Engineering) - is two-component (2K) metering, mixing and dispensing. Single-component (1K) dispensing equipment is also available where required, though our systems are primarily engineered around the precision demands of 2K processing.
Does 2KM offer access to demonstration units to help validate a new material or process?
Yes - 2KM has a full test facility for process evaluation and proof of concept before purchase, plus lease and hire options for longer-term on-site testing before you commit.
