METERING AND MIXING SYSTEMS
PGM 320
PGM 320 systems for the metering, mixing and dispensing of viscous materials with PC-based control systems ratio monitoring, mass flowmeter data collection, and automatic shutdown on deviation.
Where the PGM 200 covers general pressure-vessel metering, the PGM 320 adds control at the point of application: a microprocessor-based system with touchscreen control, in-line flow meters, and full data logging. Pressure transducers and flow meters feed real-time flow rate back to the system, which continuously checks actual output against the ratio you've set.
Built-in ratio tolerance limits, an alarm point, and automatic shutdown on excessive deviation mean the PGM 320 is suited to applications where process documentation and specification compliance matter as much as the mix itself.

MATERIAL COMPATIBILITY
The PGM 320 processes viscous, reactive materials from pressure-fed vessels up to 500 litres per component - the largest vessel capacity in the PGM 100/200/320 family - with full ratio monitoring and data collection throughout.
Compatible Materials
Processing Capabilities
- Mix ratios from 1:1 through to 10:1.
- Viscosities up to 50,000 mPas.
- Pressure vessels from 4 to 500 litres per component.
- Real-time flow monitoring with ratio tolerance alarms and automatic shutdown on deviation.
- Optional on-board de-gassing, heating, agitation and auto-refilling.
This combination of high vessel capacity and closed-loop ratio monitoring makes the PGM 320 well suited to many technically demanding applications where consistent, documented mix accuracy across a long production run is critical.
KEY
INFORMATION
Microprocessor-based control with touchscreen interface - control at the point of application, not just at the pump.
In-line flow meters feed actual flow rate back to the system, which adjusts automatically to hold ratio within set limits.
Ratio tolerance alarm and automatic shutdown if deviation exceeds set limits - built for specification-critical applications.
Pressure vessels up to 500 litres per component, with optional vacuum de-gassing.
Optional Mass Flowmeters for the highest level of ratio verification and traceability.
SUPPLIER COMPATIBILITY
2KM systems are designed to work with materials from a wide range of manufacturers, giving customers flexibility rather than locking them into a single supplier ecosystem.
The PGM 320 is compatible with silicone, epoxy and polyurethane resin systems from leading global material manufacturers, including Gurit, Huntsman and many more, meaning customers can continue working with their preferred suppliers while benefiting from 2KM equipment performance and reliability.
This supplier-independent approach supports:
- Easier integration into existing production lines.
- Reduced material supply risk through multi-source capability.
- Improved cost control through competitive supplier pricing.
- Compatibility with established formulations already validated in production.

How the PGM 320 Works
The PGM 320 uses the same independently-driven gear pump principle as every machine in the PGM range, but adds a layer of closed-loop control on top: pressure transducers and in-line flow meters at the pump outlets feed real-time flow data back to a microprocessor-based control system.
The system continuously compares actual flow rate against the entered target values and adjusts each pump's drive accordingly to hold the mix ratio within set limits - control at the point of application, not just at the pump. If deviation exceeds the tolerance you've set, the system raises an alarm, and will shut the machine down entirely if the deviation becomes excessive, rather than continuing to dispense an out-of-specification mix.
Material is drawn from pressure vessels up to 500 litres per component - the largest capacity in the PGM 100/200/320 family - with optional vacuum de-gassing, heating and agitation to condition the material before it reaches the pumps. Optional Mass Flowmeters can be added where the highest level of ratio verification and traceable data logging is required.
Applications
The PGM 320's combination of high vessel capacity and closed-loop ratio control makes it suited to technically demaniding, specification-critical processes.
Integration into automated production / coating lines
Industries Using the PGM 320
Wind Energy & Renewables - resin infusion for turbine blade manufacture, where documented ratio accuracy and mass flowmeter traceability are increasingly a customer requirement.
Medical - precision dispensing of silicone and specialist polyurethane materials.
Aerospace - structural bonding and resin infusion applications requiring specification-critical mix accuracy.
PGM 320 - FAQs
What is the PGM 320 used for?
The PGM 320 meters, mixes and dispenses silicone, epoxy and polyurethane materials with PC-based control systems ratio monitoring and mass flowmeter data collection. It's widely used for resin infusion, RTM and structural bonding and coating applications - particularly in wind turbine blade manufacture, where documented mix accuracy is a specification requirement.
What's the difference between the PGM 320 and the PGM 200?
Both machines share the same pressure-vessel feed method and viscosity range (up to 50,000 mPas), but the PGM 320 adds a microprocessor-based control system with in-line flow meters, real-time ratio monitoring, and automatic shutdown on deviation - plus a larger maximum vessel capacity (500 litres per component versus 200 litres on the PGM 200). Where the PGM 200 suits general production requirements, the PGM 320 is built for applications where process documentation and specification compliance are critical.
Which industries rely on the PGM 320?
It's specified across wind energy for turbine blade resin infusion, aerospace for structural bonding, and medical for precision silicone and specialist polyurethane dispensing.
Does 2KM offer access to demonstration units to help validate a new material or process?
Yes - 2KM has a full test facility for process evaluation and proof of concept before purchase, plus lease and hire options for longer-term on-site testing before you commit.
