METERING AND MIXING SYSTEMS
PGM 100 Spray
Budget-friendly spray system for the metering, mixing and spray application of polyurea and polyurethane protective coatings, linings and waterproofing membranes. Designed with portability in mind.
Polyurea is a fast-reacting, spray-applied material - the PGM 100 Spray is built specifically around that demand, drawing both components directly from 30 litre manufacturer-supplied hobbocks and delivering them through a purpose built low pressure spray gun at flow rates up to 3kg per minute.
Because polyurea cures within seconds of mixing, accurate, consistent ratio control matters more here than almost anywhere else in the PGM range - the same independent-drive metering design used across every 2KM machine means ratio and flow can be adjusted electronically, ensuring the material is correctly mixed and dispensed at all times

MATERIAL COMPATIBILITY
The PGM 100 Spray is configured specifically for polyurea and polyurethane spray coatings -materials that react fast, cure fast, and need to be applied as a spray rather than manually processed.
Compatible Materials
Processing Capabilities
- Mix ratios from 1:1 through to 10:1.
- Viscosities up to approximately 5,000 mPas.
- Flow rates up to 3kg per minute.
- Material drawn directly from 30 litre manufacturer-supplied hobbocks.
- Moisture-capturing filtration to protect moisture-sensitive PU & Polyurea chemistry.
Polyurea's speed of reaction is what makes it valuable for waterproofing and protective coating work - and what makes accurate metering essential. Get the ratio wrong even briefly and the coating's performance is compromised.
KEY
INFORMATION
Flow rates of up to 3kg per minute, configured for spray application rather than static mixing.
Draws material directly from 30 litre hobbocks - no decanting into smaller containers required.
Independent drive for each metering pump, with an 'invert' switch to change which motor leads the pairing.
Moisture-capturing filters protect polyurea's moisture-sensitive chemistry throughout the process.
PGM 100 control panel - potentiometer-based ratio and flow adjustment, no PC-based control systems required.
SUPPLIER COMPATIBILITY
2KM systems are designed to work with materials from a wide range of manufacturers, giving customers flexibility rather than locking them into a single supplier ecosystem.
The PGM 100 Spray is compatible with polyurea and polyurethane products from leading global material manufacturers, including Huntsman and Sika, meaning customers can continue working with their preferred suppliers while benefiting from 2KM equipment performance and reliability.
This supplier-independent approach supports:
- Easier integration into existing production lines.
- Reduced material supply risk through multi-source capability.
- Improved cost control through competitive supplier pricing.
- Compatibility with established formulations already validated in production.

How the PGM 100 Spray Works
The PGM 100 Spray uses the same independently-driven gear pump principle as every machine in the PGM range - each component has its own inverter-controlled, geared AC motor, electronically linked so ratio and flow can be adjusted without mechanical changes.
Both components are drawn directly from 30 litre hobbocks, avoiding the waste and contamination risk of decanting fast-reacting material into smaller containers before use. Because polyurea is moisture-sensitive, the system incorporates moisture-capturing filtration to protect the material's chemistry right up to the point of application. The machine is fitted with re-circulation to keep the material in prime condition when not spraying.
The material is delivered through a bespoke low pressure spray gun - necessary because polyurea begins reacting within seconds of the two components combining, and needs to be applied as a fine, even coating rather than a bead or fill. The same 'invert' switch used across the PGM range lets operators reassign which motor leads the pairing, keeping ratio accuracy consistent even as application demands change.
Applications
The PGM 100 Spray is used wherever a fast-curing, spray-applied protective coating or waterproofing membrane is needed. Its portable nature make it perfect for:
Industries Using the PGM 100 Spray
Polyurea's speed and durability make it a growing choice across construction, transport and marine sectors - and the PGM 100 Spray is 2KM's dedicated platform for it.
Construction & Infrastructure - waterproofing membranes for concrete structures and protective linings, supported by continued UK infrastructure investment.
Transport & Logistics - protective bed linings for trailers and delivery vehicles.
Marine & Offshore - protective coatings for marine environments, a sector the Market Assessment identifies as expanding.
Model Making - spraying of polyurea and polyurethane for props, set pieces and film/theatre work.
PGM 100 Spray - FAQs
What is the PGM 100 Spray used for?
The PGM 100 Spray meters, mixes and spray-applies polyurea and polyurethane coatings - commonly used for waterproofing concrete structures, coating trailer and delivery vehicle beds, and other fast-curing protective linings. It draws material directly from 30 litre hobbocks at flow rates up to 3kg per minute.
What materials does the PGM 100 Spray work with?
It's configured specifically for polyurea and polyurethane, up to approximately 5,000 mPas, with mix ratios from 1:1 through to 10:1. Because polyurea is fast-reacting and moisture-sensitive, the system includes moisture-capturing filtration to protect the material through to application.
Which industries rely on the PGM 100 Spray?
It's widely specified in construction and infrastructure for concrete waterproofing, in transport and logistics for trailer and vehicle bed linings, in marine and offshore for protective coatings, and in model making for spraying polyurea and polyurethane props and set pieces.
Does 2KM offer access to demonstration units to help validate a new material or process?
Yes - 2KM has a full test facility for process evaluation and proof of concept before purchase, plus lease and hire options for longer-term on-site testing before you commit.
