How the Decanting System Works
2KM's decanting systems use the same precision gear pump principle as the rest of the PGM range, adapted specifically for transferring material from bulk supply into smaller containers rather than mixing and dispensing directly at the point of application.
Material is drawn directly from an IBC or 205 litre drum through the metering pump. Where the material is a two-component system that needs proportioning during the transfer, the same independent-drive metering design used across the PGM range keeps ratio accurate throughout - rather than relying on the operator to weigh, measure and package components by hand.
The result is a controlled, repeatable fill process: consistent container-to-container volumes, reduced spillage and waste compared to manual pouring, and less direct operator handling of the material during transfer.
